Got this thinking it was a good comfortable cotton rope, nope the lead is stiff, lightweight and uncomfortable in the hands unfortunately.

These are the best cotton leads I've found. Just moved to a new barn and a few other horse owners have been admiring it. Holds up great...no fraying at all. Nice tight weave.

I love these ropes. They hold up like nylon but are cotton so no rope burns if a horse pulls back. The tight weave is very comfortable to hold and the 10' length is nice if you need to circle or lunge a horse. I've changed out all my braided cotton ropes
