The Pride Small Pet Door is constructed with a strong extruded frame and flexible heavy-duty rubber flaps that resist cracking in winter and warping in summer. Magnets embedded in the flaps help keep them closed and eliminate drafts. This model (SD300) is ideal for cats and small dogs, with an opening of 4 3/4 inches x 7 1/2 inches, suitable for pets up to 4 1/2 inches across the shoulder. For optimal use, the pet door should be about half an inch wider than your pet's shoulder width, ensuring a comfortable fit.

Directions:

1. Using the narrow aluminum frame as a template, mark and saw an opening.
2. Mark and drill holes. 
3. Attach the door with the rubber side on the outside of the house door. 
4. Insert the closing panel on the side facing the pet when denying access.
