Copasure Bolus Copper Supplement

New solid bolus (not a capsule) containing 30 grams of slowly released copper oxide. Adult cattle over 500 lbs - Administer 1 bolus orally with a balling gun. Adult cattle in situations of very low copper status may be given 2 boluses. Administer only intact boluses, do not crush or break. Consult with your veterinarian to determine the copper status and the type of supplementation needed.

Note: To be used only when your cattle are copper deficient.

Most economical; For goats - Put in bag.Break up w/hammer.Put in coffee grinder

I see many people saying these have changed and are no longer rods. I've only known the new form of compressed powder in a bolus.

For those of us who bought these to break down into custom sizes for small ruminants, what used to be CO bits in a gel capsule are now solid blocks of bits. Fortunately you can soak them in warm water and dry them so they collapse into clean separate bits

Great Copper Bolus

Love this copper bolus. Very effective. I actually use it for goats, I just split the capsules open measure it out. Better deal than the goat sized boluses.
