Works by putting pressure on the poll and tongue. Attaching reins to the lower rings will increase the leverage. The addition of the copper lozenge promotes salivation and removes the nutcracker effect.

Improvement on an already great bit

I’ve been using junior cow horse bits for a long time now and love them. But this one is even better because of its small eggbut style. It’s as close to perfect as it gets and my horses Seem to agree.
