This is a chewable tablet which, when ingested, helps prevent parasitic infections in dogs. Heartworms, roundworms, and hookworms are far less likely to infect a dog which has been taking this medicine.

All dogs should be tested for heartworm infection before starting a preventive program. In a small percentage of ivermectin/pyrantel treated dogs, digestive and neurological side effects my occur.
