I was concerned at first as this one is shaped a little different than the ones I usually use. It did work well.

I bought dental scrapers before from Jeffers; this is one is made differently, but it seems to work well to pop off the plague from my mini mare that has a issue with constant build up. The previous version worked well for people and K-9's.

This tool does an excellent job of scaling dog teeth. The ends are angled differently left/right. This is important while working each side or top/bottom.

This tooth scraper works perfectly on my dogs teeth. It scraps the brown plaque build up right off to shinny white teeth. Disinfects easily.

This scraper is not the same as the picture. It looks more like a miniature ice pick at the ends. Not sure it will do the job I was hoping (cleaning all the mud/dirt/manure out of the collateral grooves and central sulci of horse frogs).
