Quest Plus Wormer Horse Dewormer

2% Moxidectin + 12.5% Praziquantel. Use in horses and ponies six months of age and older. QUEST PLUS Gel is safe for use in breeding, pregnant, and lactating mares. One administration of the recommended dose rate also suppressed strongyle egg production through 84 days with just one dose. This reduces pasture contamination and provides a period of protection from reinfection for other animals in shared pasture. SURE-DIAL® syringe is calibrated in 50-pound increments and treats up to 1,500 pounds. Use Quest Plus as a part of a strategic parasite control plan.

Used to aid in the control of:

  • large and small strongyles
  • encysted cyathostomes
  • ascarids
  • pinworms
  • horse stomach bots
  • tapeworms

Proper deworming practices are essential in the battle against parasitic resistance. Quest Plus Gel is an invaluable tool in this regard, being the sole equine dewormer that tackles the most menacing parasites in just a single dose. Its primary active ingredient, moxidectin, is the preferred choice of experts when it comes to combating small strongyles. Remarkably, moxidectin also exhibits effectiveness against large strongyles (bloodworms), bots, pinworms, hairworms, and stomach worms, making it a comprehensive solution.

What sets Quest Plus Gel apart is its inclusion of a second active ingredient, praziquantel. This addition offers the expert-recommended treatment for tapeworms during the late grazing season, which typically occurs in the fall. Tapeworms can pose significant health risks to horses, and Quest Plus Gel's dual-action formula ensures their effective control.

Furthermore, Quest Plus Gel has undergone rigorous evaluation and has been deemed safe for use in breeding and pregnant mares. By providing a powerful yet safe solution for parasite management, Quest Plus Gel plays a vital role in maintaining equine health and minimizing the risk of parasitic resistance.

Effective

This is my December dewormer every year. Fecal egg counts go down to zero every time (in every horse).

Quest plus

Have had good results using the Quest Plus in September and Equimax in March. Both were chosen based on personal research and vet recommendation.

Horses hate it. We love it!

We use this in our rotational de-worming program. The others are apple-flavored, so you can imagine the faces when we use this one!
