AluShield Aerosol Bandage

Water-resistant aerosol bandage for use on large and small animals is truly a protective barrier that allows for healing underneath the coating. An aluminum powder based spray that adheres to cuts, scrapes and wounds. Keeps dirt and bacteria out while allowing wound to heal and breathe. Apply after disinfecting the wound. AluShield helps repel insects as well.

AlluShield is used quite often in castration and dehorning because it protects the wounds from flies.  Flies just don't seem to like it.  AluShield is also removable with soap and water. The usual reapplication of AluShield is every three days to ensure that an optimal bacterial barrier is maintained. AluShield is used on dogs, cats, horses, cattle and goats.
