Jeffers Leather Browband Headstall

I needed an extra headstall just for a backup/different bit option. I was very surprised when I got this one, fully expecting cheap, stiff leather…it’s wonderful though! Very soft and supple leather. Lighter colored than in the picture, but not a big deal

The throat strap is tiny! My horse is a 14.2hh solid paint mare and the strap was very small on her!
And the side buckle is next to impossible to unbuckle.
I may just take the throat strap off.
Very nice leather though!

I ordered 2 and plan to order more! The leather was soft and supple not to be confused with hard and brittle so maybe my couple were from a different lot or batch. We'll see after I order more. I use these as breakaway headpieces for my odd-to-fit mare'

I ordered two of these. The leather is a bit stiff, nothing a bit of oil can't fix though! Good buckles, and nice weight to it.
