As always with every houseware of Ireland blanket, I love it! High quality, does leave rubs on the horses neck, and durable.

Great design and versatile for all kinds of weather

Our mare usually needs just a waterproof turnout without fill for low elevation desert winter nights in Arizona, but sometimes we get a colder storm with buckets of rain and wind overnight. I want to have some layering options available without needing to wash multiple blankets. She has free access to a stall and corral, but like many horses, chooses to stand in the rain. I prefer not to see her shivering to stay warm if she is wet. Horseware Rambo turnouts are made to be waterproof for several years without needing to be re-treated. I like the features including replaceable surcingle connectors and reflector strips so I can see where she's standing at night. I measured using the Horseware size chart and the fit is true to size. My Arabian mare wears a size 69" and stands just under 14.2 hh. I see many reviews stating that Rambo turnouts are still in use after 10+ years, so they are worth the higher price. Love the blanket, but get a different tail strap

Blanket so far has held up well with 24/7 use. Keeps her warm & dry thus far. However, the tail strap broke after only having it for less than 2 weeks. And my mare is good with blankets, she doesn't rip them or try to get them off or anything, for example she's had the same horseware amigo rain sheet for nearly 3 years & it's still 100% intact.
