Just started using this and so far it is working to slow my easy keeper's hay consumption. Just be aware the manufacturer recommends that you should also use a round bale feeder for horses if your horse is wearing shoes.

I’ve on my 2nd round bale with the net! So far it’s been great! Definitely saves on wasted hay! Put the bale on the ground, put hay net over, cut wrapped hay netting off under the net! Put ring over netted bale & it’s all contained ! Very pleased!

Opening didn't fit over a 6ft bale. Had to cut the side seam to make it big enough to fit. Had 2 tears in the net right out of the package. It is a woven net instead of knotted which I like. Will see how well it lasts.

I have 4x5 bales. I ripped the opening trying to get the net on the first bale. There is no way this net will fit a 6x6 bale!

We have this hay net as well as a big brand name one. (Over $200 new) and we have found more holes chewed in the other net and zero. Z.e.r.o holes in the Tough 1 net!!!!!!
