I ordered these out of the Jeffers catalog. The word "FOAL" was not used to describe this item. I guess if I had a foal to trim, these nippers would be good, but unfortunately, they're not big enough or sharp enough to use on my horses, minis or donkeys.

These work great for mini foals. A lot easier than the bigger nippers.
