Goats Prefer Calcium Drench™, 8 oz

Oral Nutrient Supplement with Calcium for use on every goat before kidding. Also provides 3.75 g of calcium plus Propylene Glycol and B-vitamins to maintain normal calcium levels and appetite following kidding.

Directions: Administer orally, 1 oz (30 mL) at first sign of kidding and repeat after kidding.

This drench is very bad news. I bought if for my doe who was exhibiting signs of calcium deficiency (she had quads). I gave her the recommended dose, which she absolutely hated. Flung her head around and cried out, turns out this is a normal thing accordi

Effective

I have used this to treat ewes post lambing and find it very effective. Like most calcium drenches it doesn't taste fabulous but it you mix in some molasses, it takes the edge off.
