With the crazy weather, especially the high winds, I can rest easy knowing these straps are in place. The gates do have chains, but these straps give you that extra security, just like a deadbolt on your door. We have these straps on all of our paddocks

These straps are a great way to have a little extra piece of mind that the horses are secure in their paddocks, especially if you have one that likes to play with the chains on the gates. There are no sharp edges. These were just what I was looking for.
