Features glycerine-coated, colored stoppers for safety and convenience. Ideal for a variety of applications.   3mL draw.  Boxes of 100.

Red Stoppers:

For procedures requiring serum, general chemistry, and serology procedures. Silicone coated tubes feature red stoppers and contain no additive. Sterile tube interior.

Lavender Stoppers:

For procedures requiring plasma or whole blood, general hematology, and certain chemistry procedures. Non-coated tubes feature lavender stoppers and contain liquid additive EDTA (K3) 7.5% solution.

great tubes

Each lavender top tube has a tiny bit of preservative in it that you can see in the bottom of the tube. You just put your syringe filled with blood into it and it sucks it up. Then you just have to invert it a few times to mix the preservative into the bl
