Rx Nobivac 1-Rabies Vaccine, 10ml Vial (No Tags)

The Nobivac® 1-Rabies Vaccine provides crucial protection against rabies for healthy dogs, cats, and ferrets aged 12 weeks or older. This vaccine uses a cell-culture-grown, chemically-inactivated rabies virus. The virus strain is derived from Louis Pasteur’s original 1882 isolate, ensuring high immunogenicity and efficacy. The inactivated virus is combined with a highly purified adjuvant and comes in a liquid form, contained in 10ml vials.

The Nobivac® 1-Rabies Vaccine has demonstrated a duration of immunity of at least one year following a repeat dose. For detailed efficacy and safety data, please visit productdata.aphis.usda.gov.

Rabies is a fatal viral disease affecting mammals worldwide. Transmission typically occurs through wild animal vectors and poses significant risks to domestic animals and humans. Common rabies carriers include cats, cattle, and dogs. The disease progresses rapidly, with symptoms including aggression or lethargy, and culminates in respiratory failure.

Directions for Use:

  • General Directions: Shake well before use. Administer 1 mL subcutaneously or intramuscularly. Use sterilized syringes and needles.
  • Primary Vaccination: Administer a single dose to healthy dogs, cats, and ferrets at 12 weeks of age or older. Repeat the dose one year later.
  • Revaccination: Annual revaccination with a single dose is recommended.

Important Information: Some states require that rabies vaccines be administered by a licensed veterinary professional. Some states may restrict the sale or purchase of the vaccine or refuse to recognize its validity unless administered by a professional. Please check your state and local laws before purchasing.
