I have both styles. The delux with the most coverage works great. The cheaper one... Not so much. I wish I could post the picture of my cat sleeping ON the pad! Ha!

I love the x-mats. I've tried everything to get my dogs off our leather sofa, and nothing worked until the x-mats. They're not so sharp that your dog screams in pain, but if they walk along them, they become really uncomfortable and get down right away.
