Jeffers Chain Gate Latch, 6"

Works on any wood, pipe or aluminum gate. Opens with one hand, but livestock cannot open it. Will not break, freeze or rust closed. Bracket, chain, and screws included.

Chain Gate Latch

This is a simple system.

One hand operational.

If possible, mount the hardware on the face of the posts / gates.

Mounted as shown, if the animals apply force to the gate, the hardware is in tension.

The screw eye and the hook/loop could pull straigh

The latch is indeed horse proof and yet can be opened with one hand. I would use nothing else.

Very good gate latch

This works so well! It's VERY easy to open. You can open it with on hand! One hand leading your horse one hand opening! Great latch!
