Apple-Dex™

Same as Electro Dex with apple flavoring. Delivers sodium, calcium, potassium and trace minerals to maintain body fluids which are often depleted during periods of stress.

Apple Dex Key Points:

  • Apple-flavored, sodium-based electrolyte
  • Helps replace electrolytes lost during strenuous activity
  • Micro-blended for use in feed or drinking water

Directions for dosing Apple-Dex:

Can be added to drinking water at a rate of 2 oz per 10 gal fresh water or 2 oz in horse's daily ration in place of salt.

2 oz scoop included.

My colic preventative

I have a colicy quarterhorse gelding prone to colic. I feed him Apple Dex, Opiti-Zyme mixed with Equine Senior every day along with his grass hay and limited pasture time. It works for me.

Very affordable

This is a very affordable electrolyte supplement. Can be given to a horse when going on long trail rides or any strenuous activity, especially in the summertime when body fluids are quickly depleted.
