Large 2" x 2" openings. Holds up to 3 large flakes of grass or alfalfa hay. The extra long draw string offers greater flexibility when hanging options are limited.
The first one lasted about 3-4 months before it became too entangled. I haven't put the second purchase up yet.
The nets are as expected, they work and are as easy and as hard to fill as haynets always are. BUT... these are the kind of bags with very thin tie strings. It's much harder to untie with a cheap little string. For our use, where we are packing and repack
Not as good quality as I expected from Cashel. It's o.k. but the drawstring is pretty thin compared to other hay nets I have. No idea how long before it breaks but not feeling too hopeful. Pink color is nice though!
I love these hay bags , I open up put over a plastic tub , 3 flakes fit right in I have about 30 of them. cant wait for the 5.00 ones come back .
The worst hay net ever! Super hard to open to even fill it with hay. Was constructed incorrectly so it wouldn't open all the way. After squeezing the hay in (with much cursing) I offered it to my mare for a pre-ride snack and she hated it! She couldn't ge
