German Horse Martingale Rein Set

The German martingale rein set teaches flexion and proper headset. The longer fork has a snap on the end to pass through the bit and attach to 1 of 3 dees on the rein.

Made from 5/8" black nylon webbing, white nylon rope and nickel plated hardware.

Horrible - wish I had not ordered it.

This martingale is terrible. The reins are too narrow and too short. The chest strap is too short. The flimsy white (why not black?) ropes are abraded from rubbing on the bit rings. This is the worst purchase I've ever made from Jeffers.

Good buy for the price

It does the same job as the expensive martingales. If you have a long necked horse, it will work well. However, there is no way to really shorten the reins unless you go and have a buckle put on in the middle of the reins. My only solution was to tie k
