the throat end was SHARP and could easily cut an animal. the paint was chipping off. the paint was also speckled so it would scratch the inside of their mouth. the welds were weak on the "security" arms so those would have come off on first try.

This speculum works really well if you have to treat a animal for bloat Easily can be done with one person and they don't bite on the tube.highly reccommend it.
