Louisiana Flood Donations On

Saturday, August 13, 2016, southern Louisiana was hit with rain that accumulated more than 20 inches. Louisiana Governor Edwards declared a state of emergency on Friday, prompting thousands of residents to evacuate with their possessions being left behind, including pets, horses, and livestock. This devastation is sensitive to Jeffers since many of our customers and their loved ones reside in the battered area. Jeffers always helps out when animals are in need, and we are doing our best to help to promote awareness and donating goods to those affected.

YOU CAN HELP TOO! You can make a Donation to Flood Victims of Louisiana to help or you can include one with your purchase. Jeffers will distribute 100% of collected funds and goods to shelters and rescue organizations in the affected areas. Click the link above or the image at the top for additional information on donations.

In the meantime, here is a story of an everyday hero who went above and beyond to save a stranger and her beloved pet. Let's all pull together and help Louisiana!
