Directions:

Hawthorne Glycerine and Peppermint is commonly administered orally to lubricate the throat and facilitate easier breathing. Typically, 30 cc is given prior to exercise, using an oral syringe. The glycerine works to lubricate the throat, while the peppermint oil adds an aromatic quality and may help with decongestion. Peppermint is also known to soothe the stomach and may provide relief in ulcer situations, making it an excellent option for digestive support as well. Glycerine is especially useful in cold or dry weather conditions, where it can help keep the throat lubricated. The standard dosage is 1 ounce (30 cc), but two doses in the morning can be administered if desired. For horses suffering from colds or allergies, this product may not reduce mucus, as Wind Aid is more effective in those cases.
