Rx Imrab 3 Vaccine, 5 x 10 Dose

Imrab 3 by Merial is a trusted rabies vaccine formulated for the prevention of rabies in dogs, cats, cattle, horses, ferrets, and sheep. This vaccine contains an inactivated (killed) virus, the same strain used in human rabies vaccines, ensuring both safety and effectiveness. Each dose includes a potent adjuvant to enhance immune response and provide long-lasting protection. Packaged in a 5 x 10-dose (10 mL) format, it must be stored at 2-7°C (35-45°F) and never frozen. Proper storage and handling are essential for maintaining vaccine efficacy.

Indications:

Recommended for healthy cats, dogs, sheep, cattle, horses, and ferrets 12 weeks of age or older. Provides rabies protection for up to three years in cats, dogs, and sheep; one year in ferrets, cattle, and horses.

Directions:

Administer aseptically as follows:

Cats & Dogs: 1 mL subcutaneously or intramuscularly
Sheep, Cattle & Horses: 2 mL intramuscularly
Ferrets: 1 mL subcutaneously

Revaccinate ferrets, cattle, and horses annually; cats, dogs, and sheep every three years.

Cautions & Warnings:

For veterinary use only. Store between 2-7°C (35-45°F); do not freeze. Shake well before use. Use entire contents upon first opening. Do not use chemical sterilizers on syringes and needles. Possible mild local reaction at the injection site. Rare side effects may include lethargy, fever, or inflammation. Consult a veterinarian if adverse reactions occur.
